🌱 Morphology: A vigorous and highly branched hybrid, capable of reaching approximately 60–100 cm in height, with large rosettes that can approach 40–50 cm in diameter. The leaves are fleshy, shiny, and slightly wavy, with a lime green center and outer leaves that develop intense shades of garnet red, purple, and burgundy, especially with plenty of light. It readily produces offsets and can form very voluminous specimens.

🌍 Distribution and habitat: This is a horticultural hybrid created by Surreal Succulents in 2014, by crossing Aeonium cuneatum × Aeonium ‘Voodoo’. It has no natural distribution. It belongs to the family Crassulaceae. The influence of A. cuneatum is particularly evident in its growth habit and, probably, in its wavy leaves.

❄️ Hardiness: USDA approximately 9b–11b. For cultivation in Spain, we recommend keeping it above 5 °C, especially when potted and with humidity. It can tolerate occasional drops close to 0 °C when dry and protected, but not frost.

☀️ Light: Approximate target of 15–25 mol·m⁻²·day⁻¹ DLI-PAR during growth. It needs a lot of light to develop its garnet and purple tones; with less light, it remains predominantly green. In Madrid, protect it from the most intense sun during extreme heat episodes.

💧 Cycle and watering: Growth primarily from autumn to spring, with significant slowdown during summer. During growth, water thoroughly and allow the substrate to dry completely before the next watering. In very high temperatures, reduce or suspend watering and gradually resume as temperatures cool.

🌸 Flowering: It can produce dome-shaped inflorescences with small yellow flowers, usually in late spring. The RHS confirms occasional flowering in late spring.

🌿 Nutrition: During the growth period, use Desert CHOICE at a moderate dose. Reduce or suspend fertilization during summer dormancy.
