🌿 There are leaves that look like they are made of wax and flowers that hang like glowing bells.Cotyledon brings together 20 species, almost all from southern Africa, especially South Africa, where they adopt shrubby habits and very diverse forms. Their fleshy leaves can be smooth, mealy, or covered in hairs, and their tubular flowers are surprisingly large. Their rhythms depend on their habitat: some grow with summer rains and others follow winter cycles. A genus shaped by drought, cold, and the extraordinary diversity of the African landscape.
