🌱 Morphology
   A small collector's hybrid Haworthia that forms compact rosettes, resembling Haworthia parksiana. Its leaves are fleshy, relatively short and pointed, with bright white translucent windows marked by very distinct green patterns. The contrast between the almost opaque white of the windows and the green lines creates a stained-glass effect that is its main attraction. The rosette maintains a small and compact habit, although it can produce offsets. The whiteness of the leaves and the sharpness of their patterns are precisely the features that Cactus Nishi highlights in this selection.

🌍 Origin, habitat and family
It is a Japanese horticultural selection marketed by Cactus Nishi under the name 'Metarika' (メタリカ). The nursery suggests that it could be a hybrid related to Haworthia parksiana, but does not confirm the parents. In a 2012 publication, the grower notes that the plant resembles H. parksiana in its habit, although its flowers resemble those of the Haworthias known in Japan as Ryūrin, and it blooms in summer. As it is a horticultural cultivar, it does not have its own wild locality.

It is advisable to keep it above -1 °C and protect it from frost, especially when the substrate is wet.

☀️ Lighting
Bright filtered light or bright partial shade. Avoid intense direct sun, which can burn the lighter areas and dehydrate the leaves. A guide PAR DLI of 8–15 mol·m⁻²·day⁻¹ allows you to adjust the lighting to maintain a compact rosette and well-defined patterns.

💧 Growth cycle and watering
Opportunistic. It is recommended to adapt the watering to the temperature and the plant's activity. Water thoroughly when the substrate is dry and let it dry out completely before the next watering. During heatwaves, reduce watering and maintain good ventilation, avoiding both waterlogging and prolonged dehydration.

🌸 Flowering
According to Cactus Nishi, it blooms in summer and its flowers resemble those of the Haworthias of the Japanese Ryūrin group. I do not have a complete floral description that would allow me to state the color of its flowers with certainty.

🌿 Nutrition
