📍 Succulent distributed throughout the Eastern Cape region near Port Elizabeth in the Republic of South Africa. It belongs to the Alooideae tribe within the Asphodelaceae family. The species Haworthiopsis attenuata is the sole representative of the Section Attenuatae, which is one of the seven sections described in the publication by Gildenhuys & Klopper (2016) on its taxonomy.
