🌱 Morphology
Xerophytic hybrid with an acaulescent growth habit, featuring fleshy leaves initially arranged in two levels, which can become more rosette-like with development. The plant may produce basal offsets over time.
The leaves are triangular and lanceolate, relatively wide at the base and progressively narrowing to an acute apex. They have an epidermis with a silvery-green or grayish-green hue, with a slightly rough surface ornamented by small bumps or light spots. The margins are darker and exhibit fine denticulation, while the apex ends in a small point.
🌍 Distribution, habitat, and family
It is not a wild species, but an intergeneric horticultural hybrid between representatives of Gasteria and Aloe, both belonging to the family Asphodelaceae.

It tolerates temperatures close to −1 °C for short periods when completely dry and protected from adverse conditions.
For cultivation reference, it is approximately rated for USDA 10a–11. The actual tolerance depends on the duration of cold, substrate moisture, ventilation, and the plant's physiological state.

💧 Growth cycle and watering
Opportunistic. It exhibits primarily active growth during temperate seasons, slowing down during episodes of extreme heat and cold periods.
Watering should be generous, thoroughly wetting the substrate, and then allowed to dry completely before watering again.
During the warm period, if temperatures are very high and the plant reduces its activity, the intervals between waterings should be extended. In winter, with low temperatures and less light, watering should be significantly reduced.
🌸 Flowering
Flowering usually occurs between February and April, through lateral inflorescences with tubular flowers, with a morphology intermediate between the characteristic floral types of Gasteria and Aloe.
🌿 Nutrition
