🌱 Morphology
A hybrid marketed under the name ‘Muscal’. Possible parents are Haworthia cimbiformis and Haworthia picta var. comptoniana. It combines characteristic features of both species. It is a rosette measuring around 10 cm. As with other ornamental Haworthias, lighting and physiological condition can affect the color and appearance of the leaves.

Horticultural plant. The breeder, country of origin and cross from which ‘Muscal’ originated have not been confirmed.

It is recommended to keep it preferably above 5 °C and protect it from frost, especially when the substrate is moist. It requires effective drainage and good ventilation during cold periods.
☀️ Lighting
Bright indirect light or bright partial shade. As an initial guideline, a PAR DLI of 8–15 mol·m⁻²·day⁻¹ is recommended, adjusting it according to the plant's response. Sudden intense sunlight should be avoided, as it can cause burns and alter the color of the leaves.
💧 Growth cycle and watering
Summer dormancy. Water thoroughly during active growth and allow the substrate to dry out before watering again. During periods of intense heat, reduce watering and improve ventilation, avoiding both waterlogging and prolonged dehydration when growth resumes.
🌸 Flowering
Haworthias produce elongated inflorescences with small whitish and greenish flowers. No specific flowering season has been confirmed for ‘Muscal’.
