🔍 Leaves with a smooth, untextured surface and a glaucous green color. The leaves are thicker and wider than the ubomboensis variety of this species. Their hard leaves store water to survive drought periods.
📍 Succulent exclusively distributed in the locality of Three Sisters in the province of Mpumalanga in the Republic of South Africa. It belongs to the Alooideae tribe within the Asphodelaceae family. The species Haworthiopsis limifolia is the only representative of the Limifoliae Section, which is one of the seven sections described in Gildenhuys & Klopper's (2016) publication on its taxonomy.
🌡️ USDA ZONE 8b. Tolerates occasional frosts as many populations are found in mountains over 800 meters in altitude. Thus, they can withstand temperatures of up to -7ºC. Rainfall in this region is more frequent in summer.
