🌱 Morphology
Compact, fast-growing hybrid that forms rosettes of fleshy, triangular, elongated leaves slightly arched outwards. They are dark green, covered with abundant light green or yellowish-white spots and stripes, with small teeth on the margins. It produces numerous offsets around the rosette, eventually forming dense clumps. With very intense lighting, the edges and leaves can acquire reddish or purple tones.

🌍 Distribution, habitat and family
It is a hybrid of horticultural origin, so it does not exist in the wild nor does it have its own natural geographical distribution. Its parentage is not reliably documented in the sources consulted. It belongs to the family Asphodelaceae.

❄️ Temperature
USDA 9b–11b. For cultivation in Spain, we recommend keeping it above 5 ºC, especially in pots and avoiding the combination of cold and moist substrate.

☀️ Lighting
During growth, 20–30 mol·m⁻²·day⁻¹ of DLI PAR. It needs a lot of light, although in Madrid it is advisable to protect it from the most intense direct sun during the central hours of summer. Excessive radiation can cause purple coloration and yellowing.

💧 Growth cycle
An opportunistic plant, with particularly active growth in spring and during warm periods. It can remain active for much of the year if it has adequate temperatures, but it slows down its metabolism with intense cold. Water thoroughly and allow the substrate to dry completely before the next watering. In winter, significantly reduce the frequency and avoid excess humidity.

🌸 Flowering
It is a hybrid that flowers infrequently, so it is not advisable to assign it a fixed flowering month. When it does flower, it develops the characteristic tubular inflorescences typical of aloes. Flowering can vary depending on growing conditions.

This is an inimitable xerophytic plant grown in Madrid in a technological square pot and with substrate activated with mycorrhizal fungi and biofungicides.
