🌿 Morphology: A variegated, compact, and highly branched cultivar with terminal rosettes of fleshy, spatulate, and slightly pointed leaves. The foliage combines green, cream-white, and pink, and can achieve a very intense fuchsia pink with good light and specific temperature conditions. The leaves also feature a fine ciliated margin and a slight velvety texture inherited from 'Blushing Beauty'. It forms numerous lateral shoots and can reach about 40–45 cm in height.

🧬 Botanical Origin: Family Crassulaceae. 'Pink Witch' is a variegated horticultural cultivar, not a natural species. The hypothesis currently most accepted among specialized collectors is that it appeared around 2020 as a mutation of 'Blushing Beauty'. The RHS still considers its taxonomic name "unresolved," so this affiliation should be expressed as probable, not as a formally registered parentage.
'Blushing Beauty', its presumed progenitor, is a hybrid of _Aeonium canariense × Aeonium arboreum 'Zwartkop'. Therefore, the genealogy of 'Pink Witch' would be related to both species.

🌎 Distribution and Habitat
It has no natural distribution of its own. It is a cultivar maintained through vegetative propagation. Its possible lineage comes from Macaronesian Aeoniums, especially from the Canary Islands.

❄️ USDA and Temperature
USDA approximately 9b–11b. We recommend keeping it above 5 °C and protecting it from frost. It tolerates cool temperatures during its active period if the substrate is well-drained and does not remain wet.

☀️ Lighting — DLI
During growth: 15–25 mol·m⁻²·day⁻¹ of PAR. It needs a lot of light to maintain variegation and develop pink tones, but sudden exposure to intense summer sun, which can cause burns, should be avoided. The intensity of the pink changes significantly throughout the year.

💧 Cycle and Watering
It has the typical pattern of Aeonium: growth mainly during cool seasons and summer dormancy when temperatures are very high. Water abundantly and allow the substrate to dry completely before the next watering. During warm summer, significantly space out waterings.

🌸 Flowering
Like other Aeonium, it produces a terminal inflorescence with numerous small flowers, usually yellow. The flowering rosette is monocarpic, although the plant can retain numerous lateral rosettes.

🌱 Nutrition
During active growth, use Desert CHOICE at a moderate and regular dose. Reduce or suspend fertilization during summer dormancy and at low temperatures.
