📍 This cultivar originated in Dutch nurseries that, while exploring the Antilles Region in the Caribbean Sea, discovered a reduced-size ecotype of the species, which they named Fairy Castle. It belongs to the Cactaceae family.
🌡️USDA ZONE 9b. It is one of the species in this genus with the lowest cold tolerance, as it inhabits the Caribbean region with a subtropical climate. It cannot withstand temperatures below -3ºC.
☀️It needs sun or a PAR radiation intensity greater than 30 moles of photons per day.
🌸 Flowers: rarely blooms when cultivated in pots.
💧Winter dormancy. Abundant watering is recommended between March and October. Let the substrate dry out between waterings using the "wooden stick" technique.
