šKnown asĀ Living Stones. Succulent with two fleshy leaves that look like "stones." Lithops lesliei is a relatively large species within the genus. It has a flat, truncated profile and, when viewed from above, is reniform-elliptical. Soft to the touch with a superficial central fissure. Partially closed greenish windows. Numerous small windows, which distinguishes it from Lithops aucampie. Very variable colors within the species.
š Distributed throughout the Vaal Basin. Its reference locality is Kimberley. Between the northern border of South Africa and southern Botswana.Ā It is a fairly rainy region. In this region, it rains mainly in spring. It belongs to the family Aizoaceae.
š”ļøUSDA ZONE 8a - 10a. Can tolerate light frosts. The minimum recommended temperature is -7ĀŗC. In winter, the substrate should remain dry.
