🔍 Known as Living Stones. Succulent with two fleshy, stone-like leaves. Lithops karasmontana is a relatively large species within the genus. It has a convex, truncated profile and, when viewed from above, has an elliptical, reniform shape. Slightly rough to the touch with a quite deep central fissure. Windows partially closed by islands. Very variable colors within the species.

📍 Native to southern Namibia. The reference location is in the Great Karas Mountains. In this region, rain mainly occurs in spring. It belongs to the family Aizoaceae.

🌡️USDA ZONE 8b - 10a. Can tolerate light frosts. The recommended minimum temperature is -2ºC. In winter, they should remain with dry substrate.

☀️For healthy, stress-free growth, it needs partial shade or a PAR radiation intensity between 20 to 25 moles of photons daily.

 🌸 Large central white flowers. Blooms between October and November.

💧Watering begins in spring as soon as the plant undergoes its annual molt and the old leaves are reabsorbed. When high summer temperatures arrive between July and August, they enter ecodormancy, and watering should be stopped. Watering restarts in September and continues until the end of the flowering period. In November, watering is completely stopped to facilitate winter dormancy. Always allow the substrate to dry between waterings.
