🔍 Succulent with two fleshy, "stone-like" leaves. Lithops aucampie is the species that can reach the largest size in the entire genus. It has a convex truncated profile and an elliptical, kidney shape when viewed from above. Soft to the touch with a superficial central fissure.
📍 It is distributed in various locations around Kuruman in the Northern Cape province of South Africa. This region receives most of its rainfall in summer. It belongs to the family Aizoaceae.
🌡️USDA ZONE 9b. Can tolerate light frosts. The recommended minimum temperature is -7ºC. In winter, the substrate should remain dry.
☀️For healthy, stress-free growth, it needs partial shade or a PAR radiation intensity greater than 20 moles of photons daily.

💧Watering begins in spring as soon as the plant undergoes its annual molt and the old leaves are reabsorbed. When high summer temperatures arrive between July and August, they enter ecodormancy and watering should cease. Watering resumes in September and continues until the end of the flowering period. In November, watering is completely stopped to facilitate winter dormancy. Always let the substrate dry out between waterings.
