🔍 Leaves with small white tubercles, sometimes forming bands but not very distinct, only on the outer surface of the leaves. The interior is smooth. Dark green leaves. Forms clumps over time. Small leaves, no more than 5 cm long.

📍 Succulent distributed in the Eastern Cape region near Port Elizabeth in the Republic of South Africa. It belongs to the Alooideae tribe within the Asphodelaceae family. The species Haworthiopsis fasciata is one of the five representatives of the Haworthiopsis Section, which is one of the seven sections described in the publication by Gildenhuys & Klopper (2016) on its taxonomy.

🌡️ USDA Zone 9b and above. Can tolerate minimal frosts. Inhabits altitudes up to 500 meters. The minimum recommended temperature is -2ºC. Rains are common in summer.

☀️ For healthy, stress-free growth, it needs partial shade or a PAR radiation intensity greater than 20 moles of photons per day.

🌸 Small, white, bilabiate flowers. It flowers several times per season starting from 3-4 years old when temperature and water access conditions are adequate.

💧 It is opportunistic. It can be watered throughout the year, always allowing the substrate to dry between waterings. It does not go dormant in summer like its Haworthia cousins.
