🔍 Hybrid between Haworthiopsis attenuata and H. fasciata. Leaves with raised white lines and open rosettes
📍 Its parents are botanical species distributed in the Eastern Cape region near Port Elizabeth in the Republic of South Africa. It belongs to the Alooideae tribe within the Asphodelaceae family. The species Haworthiopsis attenuata is the only representative of the Attenuatae Section, which is one of the seven sections described in Gildenhuys & Klopper's (2016) publication on its taxonomy.
🌡️USDA ZONE 10a. Tolerates light frosts with temperatures down to -1ºC. Rainfall in this region is more frequent in summer.
☀️For healthy, stress-free growth, it needspartial shade or a PAR radiation intensity greater than 20 moles of photons daily.
🌸 Small, white, bilabiate flowers. It blooms several times per season from 3-4 years old when temperature and water access conditions are adequate.
💧It is opportunistic. It can be watered throughout the year, always allowing the substrate to dry between waterings. It does not rest in summer like its Haworthia cousins.
