🔍 Leaves with small white tubercles only on the outer surface. The interior is smooth. Dark green leaves. Forms long decumbent stems and clumps over time. Small leaves no more than 2 cm long.

📍 Succulent distributed in the southern area of Grahamstown in the Eastern Cape region near Port Elizabeth and north to Uitenhage in the Republic of South Africa. It belongs to the Alooideae tribe within the Asphodelaceae family. The species Haworthiopsis coarctata is one of the five representatives of the Section Haworthiopsis, which is one of the seven sections described in the publication by Gildenhuys & Klopper (2016) on its taxonomy.

🌡️USDA ZONE from 9a. Can tolerate frost. Inhabits up to 1,000 meters of altitude. The minimum recommended temperature is -4ºC. Rains are common in summer.

☀️For healthy and stress-free growth, it needs partial shade or a PAR radiation intensity greater than 20 moles of photons daily.

🌸 Small, bilabiate, white flowers. It blooms several times per season starting at 3-4 years when temperature and water access conditions are adequate. 

💧It is opportunistic. It can be watered throughout the year, always allowing the substrate to dry between waterings. It does not rest in summer like its Haworthia cousins.
