📍 Native to the Salta region of Argentina, it belongs to the family Cactaceae.

🌡️ USDA ZONE 8b. It has moderate cold tolerance, as it inhabits an ecosystem known as the Chaco under the shade of shrub species. Up to 1,500 meters of altitude, and withstands temperatures of -7ºC

☀️ For healthy and stress-free growth, it needs partial shade or a PAR radiation intensity greater than 20 moles of photons daily.

🌸 Pink flowers. It blooms several times per season from 4-5 years of age between May and September.

💧 Winter dormancy. For indoor cultivation, watering is recommended between March and September.

🚀 Its development improves with nutrition high in assimilable Calcium, such as with Desert CHOICE® Cactaceae.

This is an inimitable xerophyte cultivated in Madrid in a technological square pot with substrate activated with mycorrhizal fungi and biofungicides.
