📍 Native to Argentina and Bolivia, it is known as the silver torch. It belongs to the Cactaceae family.
🌡️USDA ZONE 7b. It has excellent cold tolerance, as it inhabits mountainous areas up to 3,000 meters in altitude, and can withstand temperatures of -12ºC.
☀️For compact growth, it needs sun or a PAR radiation intensity greater than 25 moles of photons daily.
🌸 Tubular flowers up to 12 cm long, red in color. It blooms several times per season from 6-7 years of age between May and September. Ideal for gardens
💧Winter dormancy. For indoor cultivation, watering is recommended between April and September.
