€30,00
🌱 Morphology
Collectible Korean Haworthia with Haworthia retusa and Haworthia magnifica as parents. It develops large rosettes with retuse-tipped leaves and transparent windows crossed by flat lines on a gradient of olive and lime green surfaces.
🌍 Origin, habitat, and family
Cultivar of horticultural origin and unverified ancestry. The genus Haworthia comprises succulents native to Southern Africa, adapted to filtered light conditions and periods of limited water availability.
Family Asphodelaceae · Tribe Alooideae · Genus Haworthia.
❄️ Temperature — USDA 10a
As a conservative growing guideline, it is best to keep it above -1 °C and protect it from frost, especially when the substrate is damp.
☀️ Lighting
Abundant, indirect light or bright partial shade is recommended. Sudden exposure to intense sun should be avoided, as it can cause burns or dehydration. As a starting point, a DLI PAR of 8–15 mol·m⁻²·day⁻¹ can be used, adjusting it based on the plant's acclimatization and response.
💧 Growth cycle and watering
Summer dormancy. During growth in the cool seasons, it is recommended to water thoroughly and allow the substrate to dry out before the next watering. In summer, with high temperatures, it is advisable to reduce water supply and maintain good ventilation. In many Haworthias, old roots may deteriorate during summer dormancy and renew when growth resumes in autumn. Waterlogging should be avoided year-round.
🌸 Flowering
It produces an elongated inflorescence with small whitish tubular flowers, characteristic of the genus.
🌿 Nutrition
During active growth, Desert CHOICE® Aloes, Haworthias & Co., with NPK 3-2-8 and calcium and magnesium, is recommended. Reduce or suspend fertilization during summer dormancy.
9x9 cm gourmet black pot
This is an inimitable xerophyte grown in Madrid in a high-tech square pot, with the substrate activated with mycorrhizal fungi and biofungicides.
