🌱 Morphology: Variegated cultivar with a shrubby habit, featuring short, branched stems that terminate in fleshy rosettes. The leaves display a characteristic green central band, flanked by broad white, cream, or slightly greenish areas, and a fine margin that can acquire pink or red hues. The contrast changes notably with the season: in winter, the white usually increases, and with more light and cool temperatures, the edges become intensely colored. It can form clumps, although its growth is relatively slow, and highly variegated specimens may be less vigorous.

🌍 Distribution and habitat: It is a horticultural cultivar, without its own natural distribution. It is considered a variegated mutation of Aeonium ‘Madeira Rose’, a cultivar also known in Asian markets as ‘Halloween’. Its commercialization as ‘Halloween White’ began around 2020 in China. It belongs to the family Crassulaceae. The genealogy of ‘Madeira Rose’ is hybrid, and specific parent species should not be attributed without qualification.

❄️ Hardiness: USDA approximately 9b–11b. For cultivation in Spain, we recommend keeping it above 5 °C, especially in pots and with moist substrate. It can tolerate drops close to 0 °C when dry and protected, but highly variegated forms are more sensitive to cold and stress.

☀️ Light: Approximate target 15–25 mol·m⁻²·day⁻¹ DLI-PAR during growth. It needs a lot of light to maintain balanced variegation and develop pink and reddish tones. Avoid abrupt changes to intense sun, especially during the Madrid summer.

💧 Cycle and watering: Growth mainly from autumn to spring, with a marked slowdown during summer. During growth, water abundantly and let the substrate dry out completely before the next watering. During summer heat, significantly reduce watering and avoid persistent humidity. Specimens with almost white areas require special attention, as they have lower photosynthetic capacity.

🌸 Flowering: The flowering of ‘Halloween White’ is poorly documented; some specialized sources indicate that it has not yet been reliably observed. As it is an Aeonium, if it reaches reproductive maturity, an inflorescence with small yellow flowers can be expected, but I would not assign a specific month to this cultivar.
