 🔍 Smooth, very light green leaves in sets of 3. Medium-sized. It is prolific and can form dense clumps. 

📍 Succulent with a distribution in the Little Karoo but highly concentrated around the town of Schoemanspoort in the Western Cape province in the Republic of South Africa. It inhabits a region where the most frequent rains are in winter. The species Haworthiopsis scabra is one of the four representatives of the Section Trifariae, which is one of the seven sections described in the publication by Gildenhuys & Klopper (2016) on its taxonomy. It belongs to the Alooideae tribe within the Asphodelaceae family.

🌡️USDA ZONE 9a. It can tolerate light frosts. The recommended minimum temperature is -4ºC.

☀️For healthy, stress-free growth, it needs semi-shade or a PAR radiation intensity greater than 20 moles of photons per day.

🌸 Small, white, bilabiate flowers. It blooms several times per season starting at 3-4 years old when temperature and water access conditions are adequate. 

💧It is Opportunistic. It can be watered all year round, always letting the substrate dry out between waterings. It does not rest in summer like its cousins, the Haworthias.
