🔍 A highly prized cultivar for its lime green coloration. Known as Living Stones. A succulent with two fleshy, stone-like leaves. Lithops lesliei is a relatively large species within the genus. It has a flat, truncated profile and, when viewed from above, has an elliptical, reniform shape. Smooth to the touch with a superficial central fissure. Greenish, partially closed windows. Numerous mini-windows, which distinguishes it from Lithops aucampie. Highly variable colors within the species.

📍 Distributed throughout the Vaal Basin. Its reference locality is Kimberley, between the northern border of South Africa and southern Botswana. This is a fairly rainy region. In this region, rain mainly occurs in spring. It belongs to the family Aizoaceae.

🌡️ USDA ZONE 8a - 10a. It can tolerate light frosts. The minimum recommended temperature is -7ºC. In winter, the substrate must remain dry.

☀️ For healthy, stress-free growth, it needs partial shade or a PAR radiation intensity of 20 to 25 moles of photons daily.

🌸 Large central yellow flowers. Blooms between September and November.

💧 Watering begins in spring as soon as the plant undergoes its annual shedding and the old leaves are reabsorbed. When high summer temperatures arrive between July and August, they go into aestivation and watering should be stopped. Watering restarts in September and continues until the end of the flowering period. In November, watering is completely stopped to facilitate winter dormancy. Always let the substrate dry out between waterings.
