Hyolocereus undatus – dragon fruit (Pitahaya)

Native to Central America and popularly called Pitahaya , it is the most cultivated species of the Hylocereus genus . It is widely distributed in tropical regions around the world, where it is grown as an ornamental plant and to harvest its fruits .

It has a good tolerance to heat , needs partial sun and tolerates temperatures of 2ºC . It blooms between April and May . It is recommended to water it all year round (reduce in winter) . Their development improves by providing nutrition with Desert CHOICE® Cactaceae .
