๐ Cultivar of Haworthiopsis limifolia with glaucous green leaves. Leaves with a raised scabrous surface that forms lighter raised stripes with the glaucous green of its leaves. Rosettes can reach up to 10 cm in diameter. Its tough leaves store water to survive periods of drought.
๐ Succulent distributed in the Mpumalanga and KwaZulu-Natal provinces in the Republic of South Africa. It belongs to the Alooideae tribe within the Asphodelaceae family. The species Haworthiopsis limifolia is the only representative of Section Limifoliae, which is one of the seven sections described in the publication by Gildenhuys & Klopper (2016) on its taxonomy.
๐ก๏ธ USDA ZONE 8b. It tolerates intense frosts as many populations are found in mountains over 1,500 meters high, where they can withstand temperatures down to -9ยบC. Rainfall in this region is more frequent in summer.
