🩺💉🌵 FIRST AID KIT FOR CACTUS

1 x BRUSH (20mm) |

1 x ACARICIDE (Clofentecin 50% - SC / 8 ml) |
1 x POTASSIUM SOLUTION (Potassium oxide 10% w/w - soluble in water) |
1 x HEALING - FUNGICIDE-ACARICIDE (50g Sulfur 80% dispersible in water) |
1 x PHYTOSANITARY RECIPES (APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS) 1 x SULFUR (80% WG JED Fungicide-Acaricide) |
AREAS OF PHYTOSANITARY ACTION:
🌵▶ 1. PREVENTION By controlling the 6 basic principles in the cultivation of any plant: light, temperature, water, air, soil and nutrition, health problems are minimized to the maximum. And avoiding the entry of pathogens through wounds or weak points such as the neck of our plants.
🌵▶ 2. OBSERVATION Monitoring our cacti and learning to identify and diagnose the three main threats that I call “the skull trio”: • Fungi • Mealybugs: limpet and cottony • The mite known as the red spider
🌵▶ 3. INTERVENTION
▶ APPLYING DIRECT CONTROL MEASURES:
- Mechanical or physical. Anti-insect nets, hormone traps, spraying with water
- Biological. Predatory insects, auxiliary fauna
- Chemical . Selective and efficient phytosanitary molecules. In order to achieve eradication as soon as possible.
▶ BASIC ELEMENTS OF OUR FIRST KIT:
Tools: cutter, syringe, brush, gloves
Disinfectant: 70° alcohol for tools* NOT INCLUDED
Healing: Sulfur powder to SEAL wounds and cuts
Complement: Potassium solution ⤵
- Agricultural cleaner. To eliminate residues of honeydew or secretions of the black fungus on the surface of the plants (but not to combat these harmful agents).
- Wetting and moisturizing. Adjuvant in the application of true phytosanitary products.
- Industrial cleaner for agricultural machinery.
▶ PHYTOSANITARY:
The four star molecules recommended by agricultural health authorities in May 2023 for home gardening due to their effectiveness and safety profile are:
ANTIFUNGAL: Difenoconazole 25%
ANTI-COATS: Piriproxifen 10%
ACARICIDE: Clofentezin 50%
ANTI-FISH/ANTI WHITE FLY: Acetamiprid 0.5% (It can also be used as a rescue treatment for mealybugs if resistance to pyriproxyfen is generated)
Remember what we always say: “Hit hard, but only once.” This way you will avoid resistance and recurrences.
“As little as possible, but as much as necessary” is the motto of INTEGRATED PEST AND DISEASE CONTROL based on environmental respect.
