Native to Zimbabwe, Mozambique, South Africa and Swaziland , it is known as owl's eye. It belongs to the Asclepidaceae family. It has good heat tolerance, needs partial sun and withstands temperatures of 0ºC . It blooms between August and October . Its irrigation is recommended between August and October.
